This is a Review for Xerath's Debute album "I".
Xerath is a new cutting edge band combining crushing Meshuggah style riffs with epic orchestral composition. Their sound can be described as taking influence from Strapping Young Lad, Meshuggah and Dimmu Borgir to create a distinctive sound they call “orchestral groove metal". Even if they are a orchestral groove metal band or they still manage to sound brutal, and dark. They tend sound somewhat like Meshuggah, because they use a style called Polyrhythmic structure. Don't think they are a Meshuggah rip off thought, they do a great job of making a sound all there own, And it really works for them. They have alot of symphonic parts in there music and they want to be known as a symphonic metal band (derp). The bands website says "One Purpose, To remain on the cutting edge of symphonic metal" and they certainty do. But, all i can really say is take my word for it this band is EPIC, and i have no cons.
